About Me

adapt
ADAPT is a small charity who provide support to families with premature and poorly babies on the neonatal units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital and after they have gone home. Having a premature or poorly baby can happen to anyone and because everything occurs so quickly and usually unexpectedly, it can leave you feeling upset, confused, scared and vulnerable. We have support workers who visit the Neonatal Units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital. They are there to support you in any way they can. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to but they may also be able to help with more practical and financial issues. As our support workers are part time you may miss them but do not hesitate to call or email and someone will get back to you.
